A strong, machinable, non-asbestos, inorganic board insulation for conveying, containing, handling and forming molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
Marinite A Advantages
This unique board has many advantages, metals do not adhere to it, even when they cool and solidify. It requires no foundry facing wash and will not lead to contamination of the metals. Molten metals convey with less heat loss, at a more uniform temperature and therefore can be handled at a lower temperature.
Marinite A Applications
Potential applications include floats, spouts, stopper pins, distribution boxes, dams, baffles, filter boxes, troughs and head boxes.
