A thermal insulating sheet with superior strength and heat resistance for applications with continuous use temperatures up to 550º F.

Glastherm® HT200 is a thermal insulating sheet with superior strength and heat resistance for applications with continuous use temperatures up to 550º F.

Glastherm® thermal insulating sheet is an excellent choice for mold insulation applications. Glastherm sheet offers significant advantages when compared with other materials such as mica, asbestos concrete or calcium silicate. Glastherm thermal barrier sheet is efficient and strong enough to resist resist the effects of molding pressure and rough handling. It is resistant to oil and water absorption and is completely asbestos-free.

Glastherm HT200 is a specially engineered glass-fiber reinforced composite that is extremely strong, resistant to high temperature, and boasts a long service life.  Glastherm HT200 is very stable, has high compressive strength, and is suitable for processes with an operating temperature of up to 200°C (392°F).  Glastherm HT200 was developed specially for plastic and zinc die-casting molds.  Glastherm HT200 provides good thermal insulation, which allows for rapid heating of the die and rapid machine start-up, and very low thermal conductivity, allowing constant operating temperatures to be maintained.  Glastherm HT200 has excellent resistance to chemicals, and requires little maintenance, minimizing the cost of servicing your equipment.
