Glass polyester material is made from single-wire glass mat non-woven fabric impregnated with polyester resin. During production, continuous filament is used to enhance its tensile strength, enabling cold blanking for thicknesses up to 5 mm. It is also manufactured using the Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) method, which incorporates chopped glass fiber as a base, making the material more compact and suitable for milling and turning processes. This construction results in a V0 self-extinguishing layered insulation with excellent mechanical and dielectric properties, ideal for various industrial applications.
